The vision of Iris Kenya Ministries is to see the country of Kenya transformed by the light of the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. We desire to help bring this nation back to its Creator and rightful King. Our mission is to plant churches wherever the Lord opens the door for us to do so and to disciple people in these churches. We also want to eradicate poverty from these communities, so we have teamed up with Stop for the One to implement our Village of Peace Project.
The Village of Peace Project starts with the children in our community. Most of these children, for financial reasons, will never have the opportunity to attend school. Without a good education the cycle of poverty will continue to destroy any hopes they have for a brighter future.
Our goal is to empower them to break away from this crippling cycle through education. Currently, the Village of Peace Project is seeking to remove all the financial hurdles a child faces when going to school including: school fees, uniform, materials, books, and meals.
We know with God on our side, we will be able to empower our people to become all that God has called them to be. Watch the video below to see what we are doing and the impact we are making for the Gospel.
