Pray: Spend time praying with your child for your sponsor child.
Write a letter or make a drawing for your sponsor child
Learn about the country where your child lives. Research the history and culture/
Hang up your sponsor child’s picture in a place where everyone in the house can see it can see it. Maybe hang your sponsor child’s photo on the fridge or purchase a special frame and put in it a prominent place in your home.
Practice learning new words in your sponsor child’s language.
Make a traditional dish from your sponsor child’s country.
Talk about the issues facing children in poverty.
Read Bible verse about caring for the poor. Proverbs 31:8-9, Proverbs 11:25, Proverbs 19:17, Psalm 35:10, Isaiah 1:17, Romans 12:11-13, 1 John 3:17, and Luke 14:14
Ask Jesus about his heart for those in need
Listen to music from that child’s country
